Wembley is home to the English national football team, making it a hub for sport and fitness fans not only from around London, but the entire country. On top of the world-famous stadium, Wembley has a selection of fantastic gyms to choose from so you can kick-start or continue your fitness journey.

In this guide, we’re going to take a look at some of the best gyms in Wembley, so whether you’re moving into the area, thinking about moving, or simply here for a visit, you can still hit the weights or have a rewarding cardio sesh.

What are the best gyms in Wembley?

Wembley is a hive of activity, with great places to eat, shop and socialise. It also has great travel links, making it a brilliant place to live. Another plus is the gyms in Wembley, which offer a range of features, membership options and opening hours to ensure you can stay on top of your fitness regime.

Below are our shoutouts for the best gyms in Wembley.

PureGym

PureGym on High Road is just around the corner from Wembley Central station, making it a great shout for commuters who want 20 minutes on the treadmill before or after work. PureGym costs £15.99 a month with no contract, and is open 24 hours a day which means it’s completely flexible. It also has a dedicated ladies' area, so everyone can work out with complete peace of mind.

As well as six dedicated personal trainers, PureGym offers a range of classes, with more than 50 to choose from to suit all experience levels.

If you’re looking for an affordable, no-fuss gym that allows you to come and go as you please, PureGym has plenty to offer.

Wembley Leisure Centre

Just a stone’s throw from Wembley Stadium. Wembley Leisure Centre not only offers a 100-station gym filled with modern equipment, but also a 25m swimming pool, basketball court, climbing, ice skating, football, gymnastics and more, so you can vary your workout.

It offers a range of membership levels, including monthly, pay-as-you-go, student, corporate and more, so you should find something that suits you and your budget.

Their instructors work with you every six weeks to re-focus your fitness efforts and make sure you’re doing the best you can. There’s also a sauna and steam room to relax those muscles after a strenuous workout.

Wembley Fitness

Wembley Fitness considers itself a premium choice, with two membership levels: Standard at £29.99 per month and Platinum at £44.99 per month. But, the price reflects the service and facilities on offer, with staff always pushing members to better their personal fitness.

Their PTs offer free consultations and provide bespoke training and nutritional advice, and they track your progress to help you meet your fitness goals. There are also more than 30 courses and classes available so you can have fun with like-minded members, which are all included in the membership cost.

It also boasts of being the only gym in Wembley to have two saunas. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding after lifting some weights.

Stonebridge Boxing Club

Looking for a workout with a little body work? Stonebridge Boxing Club is primarily a club for amateur and professional boxers, but it does have an on-site gym so members can lift weights and run on a treadmill in between sparring sessions.

Right between Wembley Central and Wembley Stadium stations, the club is regularly used by professionals during preparation for world title fights, including James DeGale, Charlie Edwards, Artur Abrahams and George Groves.

If you’re looking to enjoy a spin class or spend 15 minutes on the rowing machine, Stonebridge may not be quite right for you. But, if you’re looking to dive into the world of boxing, there’s no better place.

From £35 per month for adults and £20 per month for juniors, it doesn’t require a world champion’s budget. Or if you’re looking to see what it’s all about without a monthly commitment, a boxing taster session costs just £15.
